This Privacy Policy explains what information the Flailborn game and website (“Flailborn”, “we”) collect, why, and the choices you have. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the game and its online duels.
Information we collect
- Pseudonymous player ID. A randomly generated identifier used to track your match results, ranking (Elo) and win/loss record. It is not your name.
- Gameplay data. Match outcomes, score and matchmaking state needed to run Arena PvP and leaderboards.
- Device & technical data. Basic device and connection information (platform, app version, IP for the duration of a match) used for compatibility, anti-abuse and diagnostics.
- Purchases. If you buy something, the transaction is processed by Apple or Google. We receive a purchase receipt and entitlement status, never your card details.
Advertising
Flailborn shows ads served by Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may use a mobile advertising identifier and similar technologies. You can reset or limit this identifier in your device settings, and removing ads via an in-app purchase stops ad requests entirely. See Google’s advertising policies for details.
How we use data
- Run matchmaking, duels, ranking and leaderboards.
- Maintain your purchases and ad-free entitlement.
- Prevent cheating, abuse and fraud, and fix bugs.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with service providers that make the game work (cloud hosting, Google AdMob, and the Apple/Google stores) and where required by law.
Retention & your rights
We keep gameplay records for as long as your player ID is active. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us; we will remove your stats and associated records. Depending on your region you may have additional rights to access or correct your data.
Children
Flailborn is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
